Vision
"Vatika Club at Pandit Shambhu Nath Shukla University, Shahdol, envisions becoming a leading initiative in promoting environmental consciousness, sustainable gardening practices, and biodiversity preservation within the campus and surrounding community. The club aspires to cultivate a green, eco-friendly environment where students actively engage in nurturing nature and understanding the ecological importance of plants and green spaces."
Mission
"To fulfill its vision, Vatika Club is dedicated to fostering awareness and practical knowledge of gardening, horticulture, and environmental sustainability among students. The club organizes regular plantation drives, gardening workshops, and cleanliness campaigns to encourage active participation in campus beautification and ecological preservation."
Our Objectives
- To promote awareness of environmental issues and sustainable gardening practices among students.
- To organize tree plantation drives, campus greening initiatives, and clean-up campaigns.
- To educate members on plant care, organic gardening, composting, and biodiversity conservation.
- To maintain and develop green spaces on campus, including herbal and ornamental gardens.
- To encourage student-led research and projects related to botany and environmental science.
- To foster a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and ecological ethics through community-based activities.
