Welcome to the Department of Mathematics at Pandit S. N. Shukla University, Nawalpur-Shahdol. The department started in 2017 together with the establishment of Pandit S. N. Shukla University. The vision of the department is to become a center of excellence in mathematics through high quality research and teaching. The department of Mathematics is dedicated to impart high quality education in mathematics to the under graduate and post graduate students for helping them to solve challenging problems by using mathematical tools and theories. Along with the teaching responsibilities, the faculty members are actively involved in research.

Department faculty conduct research on a wide range of topics at the frontiers of mathematics and its applications. Faculty are eager to engage postdoctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students, and departmental visitors as partners in these exciting projects. Departmental research efforts are supported by a range of seminars and by the activities of our Mathematics Research Center, which hosts multiple annual workshops on topics of recent exciting research developments and opportunities for progress.
